In Pauper Magic, you can build any sixty-card deck you want… provided you only use commons. For Magic Online, the accepted rules of Pauper are that all commons are legal. For the purpose of this clan league, we will restrict our decks to standard legal, only. Sideboards are allowed and encouraged! Added at the last minute: once you have played your first official match, you cannot change your deck. You must play the same deck throughout the league.
Rules of the League:
1. Every player must play every other player one time in a best 2 out of 3 match.
2. Post results on the boards in League Results.
3. Matches will be scored as in the past leagues. 7 points for a 2-0 victory, 5 points for a 2-1 victory, 3 points for a 1-2 loss, 1 point for a 0-2 loss.
4. At the end of the league, players who have not played at least 70% of the required matches will be dropped. All results involving that player will also be dropped.
5. Players with more than 70% but less than 100% of their matches played will have matches adjudicated according to the following method:
–Determine the average points (rounded down) scored by opponents against that player.
–All players that still need to play that player receive the average points minus 1.
Schedule:
1. April 2, 2007 to April 29, 2007.
2. Matches played before or after these dates do not count towards the league total.
Prizes:
1. All league players must trade Pearl 1 ticket.
2. Prizes will be split among the 1st and 2nd place finishers based on the number of entry tix collected.
