I completely scrubbed out of a 4x premier even tournament today. First to none other than mBracht, who may or may not be the notoriously hairy Erayo Ninja creator. The rest of my games were complete blowouts with me playing some 2/2s while my opponent stomped the hell out of me with Phyrexian beat sticks.
To relax I took Phantatog out of the hole I’d left it in and won some games. Sacking Hatching Plans to Phantatog feels so elegant and romantic to me. Weird eh? I played a Muddleless version since I reformatted my computer and lost the decklist. Being able to transmute for all of my key 2-drops was extremely missed. The deck can roll with the punches and pick up steam again and again as long as I can transmute for Tallowisp.
While looking for another game I saw Have_Bad_Cards saying he was going to sue Wizards for using Brain Pry art for MTGOs current splash screen and causing his child to have night terrors. Wha?
Dude, Magic the Gathering isn’t a game for young children to see. Zombies, Devils, and Horrors oh my?!? It is increasingly the burden of society rathan than the children’s parents to protect children from un-wholesome media? During the chat others voiced their concern but none was as threatening as Have_Bad_Cards. Wizards should never have to nerf the tone of Magic mechanics and artwork because a bad parent can’t monitor what his kids see on the computer screen.
