Emailuneed?

August 31st, 2006

MTGTwincast.com is holding the The Time Spiral Writer’s Challenge. The grand prize is a playset of Lotus Blooms. Ooo. I was going to enter until I found this little gem on the page:

I don’t have email – how do I get my article to you.

* If you don’t have access to an email account, then I would suggest posting your article on our forum and mark it as being intended for entry into the Time Spiral Competition. One of us, either myself or Chris, will spot it and remove it to be potentially published.

Besides the lack of a question mark and spotty grammar this entire paragraph doesn’t make sense. Aquiring an email account is easier than breathing these days and registering for their forum system REQUIRES email activation. Really though, if somebody doesn’t have an email account it is probably because they rub two sticks together to cook their food.

I took a quick trip over to the cardsuneed.com to find a completely screwed header image and another gem inside of the F.A.Q.

How do I know if you have the card I would like?
When we designed the site, we decided that if we did not have a card in stock it would not be displayed. After each sale, our database is updated, so you always see the latest position, and view cards we actually have.

Oh, so your customers won’t see that you have 0 of one card. Instead they’ll probably think your website is a dump and you forgot to add Boreal Centaur to your database.

I think I’ll skip this contest…
