In the defense of pimpness.

Roland Chang, somebody who I am not familiar with, had a valuable collection of cards stolen from him about 15 days ago. The value of the cards is around $20,000. I’ve been following the threads about the topic and a couple of things have bothered me about his account of the situation.
1. The store wasn’t immediately put into a lock down mode to find the missing cards. TMG’s reputation has now been tarnished. I would of immediately locked the doors to the place and found the cards.

2. The police were only called after Roland left the TMG an HOUR after the cards were stolen.

3. You do not leave 20k worth of cards in the trust of somebody you just met. Although picking up your cards to go to get a drink or whatever would almost be insulting to the individual you just met I bet he would understand.

I strongly feel the cards could of been recovered if these steps have been taken immediately. When 20k worth of whatever is missing you do no fuck around. I hope the guy gets his cards back and everything but can only wonder if the entire theft could of been swiftly dealth with.

I remember being at the GP release event at the LCS and picking up my collection of a sealed deck and a trade binder full of shitty rares to ensure nothing would happen to it. Remove the temptation and prevent the crime.
