Its really too bad that Future Sight didn’t contain any card that gives suspend to cards in the remove-from-game zone. That would enable all sorts of neat plays and work well with other current standard cards like Commandeer and Snapback. I can visualize the mechanic flavor wise too with Wizards pulling powerful spells from the void. The Wish cycle already does something similar. Pity.

Recoup + Haze of Rage seems like an interesting combination to experiment with. Throw in some cost reducers like Helm of Awakening, Cloud Key, or those nifty Planeshift familiars and you have some good times. The math behind this kind of interaction boggles my mind but I’ll still have to try to put something together. At the very least I’ll get to learn a bit about how the official mana cost rules work, something I’m still hazy about.

Epochrasite is the final keystone to a counter ( the glass ones ) deck I’ve always wanted to build. My So-You-Hate-Jitte deck needs some freshness and nothing better to add freshness than a mechanical spider-bug that eats time. Man that sounds horrifying. Throw in some giant protozoa from Planar Chaos and you have one interesting deck. Kinda nice how these two creatures fit nicely into Mirrodin block mechanics.
