A pretty sick article on MTGsalvation summed up why I have a interest in the Legacy format.

Recentely a Legacy thread over at Starcitygames.com inspired me to create a broken Classic Tribal deck that I hope to unleash upon the MTGO player run event Natural Selection. It’s really too bad that wizards shifted it’s focus to a standard tribal format. This only allows for a couple of viable ( god I hate using that word ) decks and tribes. I noticed on the event calendar that Tribal Wars tournaments are happening almost every week this month but I’m just not psyched about using such a limited card pool.
The deck is pretty cool too. I’m really psyched to be playing with pie wacky cards from Mirage and Visions.
