Short story:

Host was being unresponsive, contacted support. Support said it was an error in my code. I looked, checked, and looked again. Took the entire hosting account down piece by piece, nothing.

Upon further investigation found out it was some Turkish spammer causing the problems. Somebody left their WP blog open for comment spam poof. XXX sites everywhere.

Now I have to change a few things around and we are back in business.
